Our Client is a small business based in Fairfax, Virginia with regional offices near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We specialize in State, Local, and Federal Information Technology software integration, contracting and consulting with over fifty state and local government contracts in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia and multiple Federal Government IDIQ vehicles and contracts. Our hosted software applications for local government support Child and Youth Services, Human Services, Mental Health, and K-12 education. We proudly serve the Department of Defense, the U.S. Army, and U.S. Air Force by offering DoD training courses, IT integration, and Advisory and Assistance services. They are an Oracle Gold Technology Partner specializing in Data Warehousing, Data Mining, Business Intelligence Dashboards, Web Portal applications, and database and application system design and development. Currently, they support 56 counties across the state of Pennsylvania. They support about 10,000 users. Project Description- They are seeking qualified professionals to support various application development projects in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. They would be open to someone with mid-level experience. This team supports the system that is integrated with Pennsylvania's Child Youth Services. They want someone who wants to make an IMPACT. This work supports ALL CHILDREN across the state. The team is willing to teach as their system is built from the ground up. In order to teach and ensure that new hires understand the system completely they ask that candidates sit onsite. They will be collaborating with expert level developers on a day to day basis. They will be maintaining the system and keeping it running. They have escalation teams that starts with help desk. Most of their work will involve updates to the system, which could be a 2 day project, or major yearlong project with changes to the system. We are searching for proven performers with experience in some of these areas: * Oracle 12c * PL/SQL Programming * Mod PL/SQL Programming * Oracle Reports * HTML * JavaScript Additional Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in related discipline * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with Redhat Linux operating system a bonus They are focused on helping government and commercial agencies with Oracle relational database products and web enabled business solutions while providing our employees an opportunity to thrive.
