Accounts Payable Specialist Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist with a collaborative mindset and positive attitude. This role supports financial operations by handling a range of accounts payable and receivable tasks to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and smooth day-to-day processes. Responsibilities: Process and verify invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment. Communicate with external vendors and internal stakeholders across various levels to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong working relationships. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Maintain the general ledger and properly allocate expenses to the correct accounts. Serve as a point of contact for both internal teams and external partners regarding financial transactions. Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline accounting processes and implement improved methods. Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally. Excellent analytical skills to compile data, generate reports, and resolve administrative or financial issues. High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently. Proficiency in common business software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email tools. Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision. Solid understanding of departmental workflows and operational procedures. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and complete tasks efficiently with limited direction. Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes, including standard accounting practices. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite or Sage is a plus.
