SUMMARY:
Provides professional facilitation and administration to one or more legal disciplines including contracts, intellectual property, legal review, product clearance, and privacy.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES



  • May perform preliminary review of the legal aspects of draft agreements, correspondence, contracts, and other texts and provides appropriate comments.
  • May facilitate legal processes such as protecting intellectual property, clearance of patents, privacy reviews and assessments, and contract administration.
  • Performs one or more functions including organization of legal documents (which may include privacy-related compliance documents), preparation and review of contracts or documentation, and assisting legal professionals and managers with collecting information for requests or cases.
  • Conducts and summarizes legal research of related issues, potential legislation, privacy, or other discipline-related trends as requested.
  • May provide other administrative or process support, as needed


SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS



  • Requires 2-4 years of professional legal support.
  • Must have strong knowledge of the legal industry, including legal processes, relevant privacy requirements and federal regulations.
  • May require specific experience in a given discipline such as intellectual property rights, patents, contracts, product clearance, or privacy.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite of products with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Excellent organizational skills and effective ability to prioritize competing obligations for a variety of customers.
  • Requires working knowledge and experience in own job family and broadens capabilities; has worked with and is proficient with current practices and procedures.
  • Requires expanded knowledge in own job family and broadens capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
