As a Level 4 CAD and CAM Specialist based in Memphis, you will be a senior technical leader, driving advanced CNC programming strategies, mentoring others, and influencing how we deliver quality, efficiency, and innovation across our manufacturing operations. What will you be doing?
Developing, optimizing, and maintaining advanced multi axis CNC programs using Siemens NX for highly complex components Leading machining strategy development including tool selection, fixturing concepts, sequencing, speeds, and feeds Providing technical leadership during CNC program prove outs, troubleshooting issues, and implementing durable corrective actions Partnering closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Development, Operations, and Quality to ensure manufacturability and compliance Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, tool life improvement, and machining flow optimization Creating and maintaining work instructions, validation documentation, and training materials Mentoring and coaching Level 1 to 3 programmers, machinists, and engineers in best practices and advanced CAD CAM techniques
What will you need to be successful?
At least 8 years of CNC programming experience, including 5 or more years using Siemens NX CAD CAM at an advanced level Proven expertise in multi axis milling, turning, and mill turn programming for complex geometry and tight tolerances Strong knowledge of CNC controllers such as Siemens, Fanuc, and Makino Advanced problem solving skills with a strong foundation in machining mathematics, geometry, and spatial visualization Ability to lead technically, influence cross functional partners, and clearly communicate complex information
