MTSI is currently recruiting for a Senior T&E Engineer tosupport the F-35C Integrated Flight Test at Edwards AFB.The program is responsible for Developmental Test and Operational Test for Navy and Marine Corps F-35C aircraft. MTSI requires an engineer with experience, program management at supervisory level in engineering management procedures.This person will coordinate the activities of Engineers and Technicians assigned to specific engineering projects and tasks. Supervises team of Project Engineers, Engineers, and Technical Engineers throughout entire project and/or task. The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: Performs tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks. Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise. Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Reviews and edits final project or task reports, documents and briefings.Documents include technology master plans, roadmaps, project schedules, flight and ground test plans, test reports, etc.Ensures that task related products are consistent in format and content with overall project. Coordinates with other task leaders as appropriate. Drafts, edits and coordinates technology development master plans and roadmaps.Supports technology reviews and planning activities. Leads and directs the activities of ground and flight test project teams.Responsible for planning, conduct analysis and reporting of ground and flight test projects and tasks.Ensures all resources are identified and available to meet test needs. Leads or participates in TPWG meetings to support ground or flight test projects requiring senior level technical support. Drafts, edits and coordinates test plans and associated test planning documents. Required Experience & Skills: Must have a Master's degree in a technical field and 5+ years' engineering experience, or bachelor's degree in a technical field and 7+ years' engineering experience, or an associate's degree in a technical field and 9+ years' engineering experience Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility Must be a US Citizen Education: Bachelor's degree Clearance Requirements: Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance Work Location: Edwards Air Force Base, CA; Note, the position will move to Naval Air Weapons Station Point Mugu, CA in October 2027 The pay range for this position in California is $165,000/year to $185,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
