Test and Evaluation Engineer

• Performs tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks.
• Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise. Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
• Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
• Reviews and edits final project or task reports, documents and briefings.Documents include technology master plans, roadmaps, project schedules, flight and ground test plans, test reports, etc.Ensures that task related products are consistent in format and content with overall project. Coordinates with other task leaders as appropriate.
• Supports the activities of ground and flight test project teams.Responsible for tasks related to planning, conduct, analysis and reporting of ground and flight test activities.
• Participates in TPWG meetings to support ground or flight test projects and tasks.
• Develops test plans and associated test planning documents.Supports TPWG meetings.
• Develops specialized analysis and data reduction or presentation software to support technical analysis (system trades, sensitivity analysis, etc.) or flight or ground test programs, projects or tasks.
• Runs existing Government or company developed one-vs.-one or scenario level survivability or air defense analysis modeling and simulation codes.Establishes run matrices and supervises efforts of Engineers and Technical Engineers running large scale simulations.
• Develops software to support specialized engineering and test analysis

• Must have a Master's degree and 4+ years' engineering experience, or bachelor's degree and 6+ years' engineering experience, associate's degree and 8+ years' engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required

• Must have an active DOD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Must be a US Citizen

• Edwards Air Force Base, CA; Note, the position will move to Naval Air Weapons Station Point Mugu, CA in October 2027
