About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Sr Manager, FP&A, responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis. In this role, you will serve as the primary financial liaison between teams, prepare comprehensive financial reports for executive leadership, manage indirect rates, and drive process improvements while providing mentorship to team members. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying financial risks, developing mitigation strategies, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. About You

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the development of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets

  • Budget Management: Oversee program budget preparation, execution, and cost controls. Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions

  • Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance. Identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement

  • Financial Reporting and Strategic Support: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and projections for executive leadership to support strategic decision-making

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary financial liaison between multiple teams and business operations, ensuring financial responsibilities are fulfilled

  • Indirect Rate Management: Play a significant role analyzing actuals and forecast that formulate indirect rates, as well owning key deliverables supporting Forward Pricing Rate Proposals and Company Strategic Plans

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and controls to drive operational efficiency

  • Leadership & Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development and building a high-performing finance team

  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect organizational assets and ensure financial stability

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections

  • Demonstrated experience of analyzing financials statements

  • Proven leadership abilities inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews

  • Proficient with Excel; PowerPoint a plus

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical role in business, program or operations management

  • Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools

  • A strong background in DoD, government contracting

  • Experience in a public company environment

  • Advanced knowledge of indirect rate composition

  • Proficient with Oracle EPM for financial planning

Compensation:

Pay Range:

$158,696.00 - $218,228.00

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education,experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
