Position Overview dormakaba is seeking a First Shift (6AM - 2:30PM) Assembler II (Glazier) based in Reamstown, PA. The Assembler II (Glazier) is responsible for fabrication and assembly of glass panels related to commercial glazing construction. They are also responsible for the fabrication of center shaft assemblies used on revolving doors. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $20/hr.-$25/hr. with mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits. $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview) What you will do Cut, fit and assemble metal-framed glass panels Interpret blueprints and instructions Monitor inventory of key operating supplies Review production schedule daily for build sequence and keep glass rack loaded as directed Operate various powered industrial equipment to move materials Operate saw, lathe and drill press to fabricate and assemble shaft components What we require High School Diploma and/or GED Certification 1+ year of manufacturing experience Reading and understanding blueprints and mechanical drawings Knowledge and understanding of basic arithmetic Strong mechanical abilities Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
