Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for providing internal and external customer service, including technical support, order, and payment-related assistance, claims management. Each day, you will coordinate with relevant functions to ensure complete case ownership. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing customer satisfaction by providing appropriate solutions.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Pinetops, NC

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Pro-actively communicating with customers and internal functions to guarantee customer satisfaction by providing all relevant information.

  • Coordinating directly with scheduling, operations, quality, and shipping to ensure that the orders are completed and ship on time.

  • Ensuring the resolution of customer issues (e.g. order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams.

  • Recommending appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinating with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place.

  • Collecting and archiving documentation regarding the orders and records assumptions and decisions taken during the process in the systems in scope of responsibility.

  • Identify and suggest improvements to process and procedure.

  • Develop Microsoft project schedule to tack the execution of critical orders with multiple milestones and complex execution.

  • Utilize ABB's tools and processes, including order entry (Spine / SAP), invoicing system (SAP), and SOM.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or associates degree with 10 years of experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs, Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft outlook.

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).

  • Strong knowledge of ABB systems, SPINE, SAP, SOM, would be a plus.

  • Operates in a fast-paced environment where critical decisions must be made quickly, and teamwork is essential.

  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
