Operations Manager - Direct Hire

Location: Midway, GA

Salary: $60,000-$65,000/year

Schedule: Full-Time

We are hiring an experienced Operations Manager for an exciting temporary opportunity at a new 300,000 sq. ft. distribution facility in Midway, GA. This is a great role for a hands-on leader with warehouse operations, logistics, inventory, and team-building experience. This position focuses on distribution center operations and administration-not manufacturing or production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help launch and organize daily operations for a new distribution center.
• Build teams, assist with hiring, training, and staff coordination.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Reconcile orders, inventory levels, and shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain product availability.
• Generate reports, track KPIs, and support operational planning.
• Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Office for reporting and workflow management.
• Improve processes, maintain efficiency, and support growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in operations management, warehouse management, or logistics leadership.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, order management, and vendor relations.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Planning, problem-solving, and team development experience preferred.
