Location: Milpitas, CA

Pay Rate: $26-$30/hour + 10% Shift Differential

Shift: Swing Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

We are hiring a skilled Engineering Technician for a temporary opportunity in Milpitas, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, and industrial facility maintenance. Join a team supporting critical building systems in a high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and facility equipment.
• Maintain boilers, chillers, cooling towers, clean steam generators, and backup generators.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, and general building equipment.
• Support clean room air balancing and environmental controls.
• Monitor and maintain BAS (Building Automation Systems).
• Perform maintenance on RO/DI water systems, including bed changes, TOC checks, and meter calibration.
• Conduct chemical checks for chilled water loops.
• Complete light carpentry and general facility repairs as needed.
• Ensure all systems operate safely and within required parameters.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building engineering, or industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and automation controls.
• Experience with BAS systems and water treatment systems preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on swing shift.
