IT Support Technician

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Support Technician for a contract position with a Major Energy Company located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This position serves as the first-line responder for resolving technical end-user issues. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently, exhibiting a strong sense of urgency and providing excellent customer service. The role focuses on a first-call resolution model to resolve customer issues during the initial interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first-line responder for technical end-user related issues
• Focus on a first-call resolution model to resolve customer issues during the initial interaction
• Provide excellent customer service
• Escalate issues to tier 2 support and other teams as needed
• Contribute to the IT Service Desk Knowledgebase

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience with IT support
• Experience with Windows 10/11
• Experience with M365/Office Applications
• Experience with desktop applications (Intune, Adobe)
• Hardware support experience for enterprise devices (Laptops, Printers)
• Must be a self-starter and able to work without immediate support from a team at times
