Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a contract position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH. This is an 8 month contract opportunity.

W2 rate: $55-58/hour

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst Lead who excels at source-to-target data mapping, advanced SQL, and has a solid understanding of robust ETL processes for an Enterprise Data Warehouse. You will translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable data designs and collaborate closely with data engineering and OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications) teams to deliver reliable, auditable reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end source-to-target mapping from banking source systems to the OFSAA staging, fact, and summary layers
  • Document business rules, transformation logic, and lineage
  • Maintain mapping specifications for facts/dimensions and ensure reconciliation and traceability through the reporting stack
  • Utilize complex SQL/PLSQL to profile data, validate transformations, and troubleshoot issues
  • Build reusable validation queries and exception reports to support data quality controls and sign-off
  • Understand ETL jobs (parallel framework, lookups, transformers, aggregators, change data capture) aligned to mapping specifications and SLAs
  • Understand job parameterization, restartability, scheduling, and operational monitoring with clear runbooks
  • Investigate business problems, research system capabilities, analyze data, and identify requirements to support solution design
  • Partner with OFSAA business/tech teams to ensure data structures support required modules and calculations (e.g., risk, finance, regulatory)
  • Participate in SIT/UAT, defect triage, and production readiness for OFSAA reporting
  • Work with Product, Risk/Finance SMEs, and Data Engineering to prioritize backlog, clarify requirements, and manage change requests
  • Produce clear artifacts: BRDs, data mapping workbooks, ETL design docs, requirements documents, test plans, and runbooks

Requirements:

  • 5 years in data/BA roles within banking/financial services
  • Strong SQL / PL/SQL skills
  • 3 years experience with ETL jobs
  • 3 years working with an Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Demonstrated experience delivering source to target mappings and maintaining data lineage/traceability
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to translate business rules into executable data transformations

Desired skills:

  • Experience with OFSAA 8.1.x (e.g., FSDF, OFSI, reconciliation, regulatory data sets)
  • Knowledge of banking products (loans, deposits, derivatives), banking terminology, Basel/Regulatory concepts, and financial reporting controls
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Snowflake, DataStage
  • Familiarity with job scheduling (e.g., Zena) and Git
