Design & Construction Services supports the university's strategic plan through the design and construction of new and renovated facilities. This includes the bid, award, management, and administration of all professional services and construction contracts related to campus construction projects. Demonstrates professional skills as a seasoned, experienced contract administrator to prepare documents for the bid and award of construction-related contracts and draft and issue complex and varied contracts. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, including identifying potential contractors, conducting the bidding process, drafting contract terms, and ensuring compliance with contract terms through contract completion. Applies knowledge of theories, statutory requirements, and policies through the implementation of effective and efficient contracting processes.
