We're looking for the right motivated SEO Content Writer to join our dynamic team of small business supporters! Someone who can turn service trade topics into engaging reads and knows how to make search engines fall in love with it. You will be a part of our mission in developing marketing campaigns and gathering related metrics for current marketing projects to help eager small businesses flourish. The position would include: * Improving not only your own skillset but the growth of local businesses and organizations (Paid training available) * Collaborating with staff to create original and creative content for websites, social media campaigns, and other marketing campaigns * Assisting clients with communicating their brand through content marketing * Supporting current staff in researching target markets for clients and their competitors' marketing efforts * Supporting SEO efforts by implementing "search engine friendly" content to enhance Organic Search Engine Optimization as it is implemented on client websites. * Gathering data and analyzing metrics to help improve marketing efforts Experience: Creative writing, English or a similar discipline. * At least 1-2 years experience in content creation * At least 1-2 years of local SEO experience * Have strong presentation and communication skills * Have a positive attitude and a sense of humor * Have a strong work ethic and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines. * Previous agency experience desired Working knowledge of Google Ads, WordPress, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Trello, Basecamp and SEMrush is a major plus (based on experience) You will work alongside your team of other SEO content strategists, director and designers to learn how to measure, engage, drive and convert consumer data into tangible, marketing campaigns.
