Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Six (6) years of experience in cleaning and sanitizing commercial facilities.
  • Three (3) years of experience supervising a large staff.
Licenses or Certifications
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license upon hire and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and inspects Custodial employees' assigned activities and areas to ensure and maintain a clean and safe workplace. Responds to public and employee concerns and makes corrections where necessary.
  • Assigns Custodial staff with weekly tasks in each building to monitor and schedule the coverage needed prior to any upcoming vacations, special cleaning requests, event or meeting setups, etc.
  • Completes and schedules a calendar of meetings/events for Custodial staff assigned for the purpose of cleaning after each meeting/event has ended.
  • Receives and issues work order requests and delegates as needed to make sure custodial or minor maintenance work request is properly completed.
  • Performs other related duties as required
