Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic

STS Technical Services is seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to support turbine aircraft maintenance operations in Stuart, Florida. This role is built for technicians who can troubleshoot complex issues, execute maintenance with precision, and operate independently in a regulated Part 135 environment.

If you have a strong background in corporate aviation and know how to move from diagnosis to resolution without hesitation, this is your lane.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and alterations on turbine aircraft
  
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
  
• Diagnose complex mechanical and avionics discrepancies with minimal supervision
  
• Complete all maintenance tasks accurately and document work in maintenance tracking systems
  
• Conduct engine runs, taxi checks, and operational tests as required
  

• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, Part 135 requirements, and company manuals
  
• Review and sign off on maintenance work within certification privileges
  
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and proper logbook entries
  
• Identify and escalate safety concerns or compliance risks to Maintenance leadership
  

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
  
• Minimum of 3 to 7+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
  
• Strong experience with corporate aviation and turbine aircraft
  
• Working knowledge of Part 135 operations and regulatory requirements
  
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues independently
  
• Valid driver's license
  

• Experience working on Hawker and or Citation aircraft
