Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist manager and Corps officers to serve residents at the L.A. Silvercrest Senior Residence.

Essential Functions



  • Under the guidelines of Administrator/manager, receive monthly posting to client leger card
  • Discuss lease agreement with new tenants
  • Answer telephone and prepare invoice transmittals and venders' files
  • Assist in apartment inspections
  • Send out letters to residents and post notices if required
  • Take guest room reservations and ensure that rooms are prepared for check-in and should be inspected right after check-out
  • Complete the monthly statistics
  • Maintain Residents' files and purchase office & other suppliesRespond appropriately to any emergencies, answer phone and alarm as needed during weekends
  • Oversee and maintain petty cash as a petty cash custodian
  • Assist Administrator to manage Tenant Relations and respond to requests for repairs and maintenance, understanding of rent charges, lease issues and other tenant concerns
  • Supervise support staff in the daily operation of Silvercrest Property. Supervise staff interaction with residents and vendors.
  • Provide records and reports as required by Administrator in accurate and timely fashion.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Corps Officer


Working Conditions

Ability to walk, stand, bend squat climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to be able to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as file cabinet drawers and reach overhead.

Minimum Qualifications



  • Experience in managing Housing
  • Ability to speak Korean / Spanish
  • Experience working with senior citizens
  • Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers to operate computer and keyboard as well as telephone
  • Must have a valid CA Driver's License and be able to clear MVR report and safety training.


Skills, Knowledge & Abilities



  • Driving test and clean MVR check.
  • If working in vicinity of children a criminal background check is required with certification for Protect the Mission policies and procedures.
  • Must have genuine care for elderly individuals and a desire to make a difference.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic; must be able to complete tasks well
