What work will you perform?


The Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects by assisting Senior Project and Program Managers in coordinating activities, analyzing project data, and maintaining financial tracking. Contributes to project success through detailed analysis, proactive communication, and effective coordination across cross-functional teams.


This role focuses on developing foundational project management capabilities, including schedule management, risk identification, financial tracking, and reporting, while gaining exposure to both Agile and traditional delivery models.



Essential Responsibilities:



  • Support Project/Program Managers in planning, executing, and closing projects of low to moderate complexity
  • Track project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and action items to ensure timely completion
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project documentation including project plans, status reports, and risk logs
  • Monitor project financials including budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variance analysis
  • Perform project analysis to identify risks, issues, and opportunities; escalate as appropriate
  • Facilitate or support project meetings, including status reviews, stakeholder updates, and working sessions
  • Track and follow up on decisions, risks, and action items through resolution
  • Support change control processes by documenting scope changes and assisting with impact analysis
  • Communicate project status, risks, and key updates clearly to stakeholders at all levels
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased delivery efficiency
  • Maintain strong responsiveness to stakeholders and leadership inquiries
  • Adapt to evolving priorities and project needs in a dynamic environment
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision



Required Minimum Experience and Education:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience supporting IT projects, project coordination, business analysis, or financial analysis



Preferred Experience and Education:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 months of experience supporting project financial processes such as budget tracking, forecast updates, variance analysis, or invoice review



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of project financial concepts (budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis)
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with all levels of management
  • Understanding of SDLC and exposure to Agile and/or traditional project methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Professional demeanor and strong accountability
  • Ability to proactively identify risks, delays, or issues and communicate them effectively
  • Commitment to continuous learning and skill development in project management
  • Ability to contribute to a disciplined, accountable, and results-oriented delivery environment
