Job Title: Accounting Manager V Location: PST remote Duration: 6 Months Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and driving process improvements across accounting functions. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements Lead month-end and year-end close processes Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances Coordinate and support internal and external audits Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes Review reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheets, and key accounts Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and leadership Supervise and mentor accounting staff (if applicable) Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance Required Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) Experience with financial reporting and close processes Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) Advanced Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and organizational skills Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or equivalent certification preferred 10+ years of accounting experience (with leadership experience preferred)
