Retail Store Associate (Part-Time - Summer Hours)Max Pay Rate: $16.00/hourSchedule: Monday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PMHours: Part-Time, Summer HoursInterviews: In-person interviews are requiredPosition OverviewThis role supports daily operations within a Sysco-affiliated retail store environment. The associate will work directly with customers, assist with order fulfillment for external restaurant clients, and maintain store cleanliness and organization. Professional appearance and strong customer service skills are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service to walk-in customers and external restaurant clients.Work in both freezer environments and regular temperature areas.Take and process product orders from outside restaurants and other clients.Handle invoices, checks, and related documentation accurately.Print labels and invoices using Sysco systems (English-based).Stock shelves and rotate product as needed.Clean and maintain shelves and general store areas.Pack food items for delivery orders.Required Qualifications1 year of retail experience (required).Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English to operate Sysco systems.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work in cold/freezer environments as needed.Professional appearance and demeanor.Work EnvironmentRetail store setting with frequent customer interaction.Exposure to varying temperatures, including freezer environments.Fast-paced, customer-focused environment requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
