JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director of Information Technology, oversees multiple projects, applies project management methodologies, coordinates the work of colleagues and vendors, supports technologies, and assists with continuity of operations. This position will ultimately work with leadership to establish project goals/objectives, assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, acquire needed resources, and develop a schedule to ensure the successful completion of projects in a timely fashion. Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, high-reliability environment.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, healthcare field, or related administrative field
  • Management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree


EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:



  • A minimum of three to five years' project management experience
  • Experience in the information systems areas of project and lifecycle management or Project Management Institute certification a plus


LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:



  • Project Management Institute Certification a plus


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • An effective communicator both orally and in writing at all levels: as an educator, a motivator, and a marketer.
  • A person with a strong track record of implementing systems with a creative use of resources.
  • Ability to set priorities and expectations in a manner that is understandable by management and users.
  • Ability to meet Suburban Hospital's attendance requirements of no more than six unplanned absences in a rolling 12-month period.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and complex reports.
  • Ability to attend off-site meetings, seminars, and professional conferences.


Salary Range: Minimum 43.41/hour - Maximum 75.98/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
