Oversee the full lifecycle management, governance, and sustainment of the organization's SharePoint environment to ensure secure, compliant, and missionaligned collaboration capabilities. Essential Job Functions: Lead the design, implementation, and administration of SharePoint Online architecture, site structures, access models, and information management frameworks across program offices and product teams. Develop and enforce SharePoint governance policies covering permissions management, metadata and taxonomy development, content lifecycle controls, and site provisioning procedures. Coordinate with cybersecurity and Information Assurance teams to ensure system compliance with federal IT standards including FISMA, NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, and agencyspecific directives. Manage and maintain SharePoint solutions such as site collections, document libraries, lists, workflows, automated processes, and Microsoft 365 integrations to support operational users and mission requirements. Oversee the development and sustainment of user access models ensuring leastprivilege principles, CAC/PIV authentication compatibility, and role-based access structures. Collaborate with program offices, mission partners, and business units to design SharePoint tools for collaboration, workflow automation, records management, and data accessibility. Integrate Power BI reporting and data visualization into SharePoint solutions to support operational analytics and decision-making. Maintain program documentation including SOPs, governance plans, architecture diagrams, continuity plans, and system configuration baselines. Provide end-user support including training development, user guides, job aids, and instructor-led training sessions across the organization. Coordinate and manage system upgrades, patching cycles, and SharePoint migrations such as onpremise to SharePoint Online transitions. Engage with internal and external stakeholders including government leadership, contractor teams, and support vendors to align solutions with mission needs. Ensure compliance with federal records management policy, NARA requirements, and agency-specific information lifecycle management processes. Track, document, and resolve SharePoint-related issues, risks, or deficiencies; monitor system performance, content compliance, and operational readiness across supported teams. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. Minimum of bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience. Experience administering SharePoint Online within a federal, DoD, or government IT environment. Expertise in SharePoint architecture, permissions structuring, metadata and taxonomy management, content types, and workflow automation. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Experience in Integration of Power BI reporting and data visualization into SharePoint solutions supporting operational analytics and decision-making. Strong understanding of identity management, access control models, and CAC/PIV authentication. Ability to develop and maintain governance standards, user procedures, and technical documentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with leadership, mission users, and technical teams. Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with program objectives and IT governance. Desired Skills: Experience supporting DoD, Army, or other military acquisition or operational organizations. Familiarity with IL2/IL4/IL5 cloud environments, FedRAMP controls, and agency cloud policies. Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity controls, RMF processes, and federal compliance frameworks. Experience conducting or managing SharePoint migrations from onpremise environments to SharePoint Online. Experience in Siemens Team Center PLM Administration Understanding of federal records management requirements and NARA guidelines. Possession of a Public Trust, Secret, or agencyspecific clearance, if required by the role. | |
