Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to support a major national laboratory.

Candidate will work closely with the product development team to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality. Additionally, candidate will serve as a coach and mentor to our team - helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently. Support will be 50% DataSEA & 50% MBSE Capability.



Responsibilities

    Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the team
  • Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices
  • Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products
  • Work with the Product Owner to prioritize the product backlog
  • Facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
  • Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team's progress
  • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions
  • Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders
  • Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or similar discipline, plus 2 years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of job
  • Must have an Active Q clearance to start.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

* Onsite 3 days per week to meet mission deliverables/meet service level agreement requirements

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices
  • Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum events
  • Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira

Desired Skills:

  • Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • Familiarity with the Nuclear Security Enterprise and the Nuclear Deterrence mission
