WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Creates BOM and Cut List for project materials based on provided Design Prints, QCW, and shop needs. Maintain accuracy of said documents and provide lead/delivery times of those items. Ensures Epicor project allocation is correct and controls delivery of the materials/products to align with scheduling needs.
Review Drawings and QCW for corrections or changes at key design stages. Create BOM and Cut List, then trigger Epicor release with Purchasing Agent for project materials. Plan all inbound deliveries per schedule and ensure required information is on all associated paperwork. Provide management metrics if QC issues arise for vendor corrective actions. Communicate and coordinate between company personnel and Purchasing Agent for rejected, returned, or repaired issues on project materials. Release project documentation to designated employees for manufacturing process. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management. Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to all departmental, federal and state regulations. Assist in other departments as needed. (Purchasing, Estimating functions)
YOU HAVE:
Ideally 5+ years of ERP software experience; preferably EPICOR Strong Manufacturing Facility experience, familiarity with construction standards and shop capabilities. Strong Mathematics skills and complex problem solving abilities. Familiarity with project materials (Sheet Metal, Insulation, Structural Steel, Fasteners) Oral Communication - speaks clearly, persuasively and professionally in all situations. Written Communication - edits own work and the work of others for accuracy. Edits spelling and grammar, syntax. Can read and interpret written information, graphic information and project technical documents. Planning/Organizing - prioritizes and plans work, uses time efficiently. Adaptability - able to multitask and to adapt to frequent changes, delays or unexpected challenges with customer projects. Dependability - good work ethic; uses discretion, takes initiative and works independently to get the job completed.
