Software Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Agricultural and Food Corporation located in Wayzata, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Pay range: $73.86 - $76.94 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level.

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications and systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers and designers to implement new software features and upgrade existing software, with a primary focus on the Salesforce platform including Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex.

Responsibilities:

• Partner to design and develop high-quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Apply internal software deployment platforms, methodologies, and tools to automate the deployment process
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, and perform debugging to maintain software quality and performance
• Provide suggestions for improving software development and deployment processes
• Draft and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications and system configurations
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues with deployed applications

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (typically 3+ years)
• Experience in Salesforce software development, specifically with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and Salesforce administration

Desired skills:

• 2+ years of experience in front-end and back-end development using JavaScript frameworks such as React and Node.js
• Experience with Java and Mobile App Development
• Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira
• 1+ years of experience in cloud-native development with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
