Position Summary: The Quality Manager reports to the General Manager with dotted-line responsibility to the division and corporate quality departments. The Quality Manager is responsible for controlling Helicomb's Quality Management System (QMS) by understanding customer contractual requirements, PCC quality requirements, and the applicable regulatory and statutory requirements (including but not limited to AS9100/ISO9001, NADCAP, FAA, JAA, EASA). The Quality Manager will interpret these requirements and establish the necessary quality processes, procedures and plans. The Quality Manager will be the focal point for all audits, CARs, SCARs, deviation requests, personnel training matrix, bi-annual management review, QMS updates, and change board activities. The person in this position will oversee all members of Helicomb's Quality Department, including inspectors, laboratory personnel and the quality engineer. This job is a hands-on position, and the expectation is a strong work ethic and team spirit that may require the Quality Manager to support inspection or administrative duties as needed.
