Responsibilities

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Network Engineering and Systems Engineering, supporting activities involving the latest technologies in Cloud Operations. Responsibilities include reviewing customer-submitted requirements, performing end-to-end network systems engineering, and identifying additional requirements necessary to meet mission needs.

The candidate should have experience in the design and implementation of data networks supporting cloud operations. This includes network architecture design, system implementation, and the integration of new technologies. A solid understanding of network management protocols is required.

Key responsibilities include:

    Collaborating with engineering and network teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
  • Designing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining network infrastructure
  • Developing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture
  • Providing detailed guidance on hardware selection and implementing techniques and tools to deliver efficient, scalable solutions that meet both current and future capacity requirements
  • Demonstrating expertise across network hardware and interconnections, including routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways
  • Designing and implementing failover solutions for major customers


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
  • Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer (SE) on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required (Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree).
  • Experience supporting the customer's Mission Systems is required.
  • Ability to analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
  • DoD 8570/8140 certification required, preferably a CISSP.

*Possession of a valid 8570/8140 certification is required and will be verified during the interview or offer process.

Target Salary Range

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
