The Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC), Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, is seeking a clinicianeducator to join the faculty at the rank of Instructor.

The successful candidate will be a patientcentered rheumatologist with broad clinical expertise in rheumatic and autoimmune diseases, a strong dedication to medical education, and an interest in contributing to the division's clinical, teaching, and academic missions.

Responsibilities:




  • Provide comprehensive outpatient and infusionbased care for patients with inflammatory arthritis, systemic autoimmune diseases, and a broad spectrum of rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Contribute to the delivery, growth, and optimization of clinical services within the Division of Rheumatology, including participation in specialty clinics and continuity care.
  • Manage patients receiving advanced immunomodulatory and biologic therapies in alignment with current evidencebased guidelines and best practices.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and rheumatology fellows across ambulatory, inpatient, and conferencebased educational settings.
  • Engage in scholarly activity, including clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and other academic efforts that advance rheumatology care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYorkPresbyterian Hospital to ensure coordinated, highquality patient care.
  • Participate in divisional educational conferences, curriculum development, and initiatives aimed at clinical innovation and program enhancement.


Minimum Qualifications: M.D. or equivalent medical professional degree. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York.

Preferred Qualifications: Clinical expertise in Rheumatology and the management of complex autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, along with a strong commitment to teaching, academic service, and patientcentered care.
