What You'll Do (Your Impact)

  • Deliver Exceptional Member Service by providing prompt, courteous, and comprehensive assistance to members and potential members across multiple contact center channels.
  • Guide Members Through the Loan Journey by answering questions, explaining options, and supporting members through the application and lending process.
  • Match Members with the Right Solutions by promoting credit union products and services that best meet their borrowing needs and enhance their financial well-being.
  • Apply Lending Expertise by using knowledge of consumer lending practices and policies to support sound decision-making while minimizing risk to the credit union.
  • Collaborate for Success by working closely with teammates and internal partners to achieve organizational, departmental, and team goals.
  • Support Compliance Excellence by ensuring all interactions and processes comply with BSA, OFAC, and USA Patriot Act/Customer Identification Act (CIP) requirements.
  • Grow Professionally through continuous learning and development opportunities that support career enrichment and long-term success.


What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or finance preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, including at least one year in a financial or contact center setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of consumer lending principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to serve a diverse membership.
  • Comfort using office software and lending/customer relationship management systems.
  • Ability to effectively support members across multiple contact channels (phone, digital, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle confidential information accurately and securely.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork.

Physical Demands of Position
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand, and walk, use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level and lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 10 pounds.

Environmental / Working Conditions
Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.

Variety of office equipment (telephone, printer, PC, mobile devices, etc.).
