Job Description

The Manufacturing Quality Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the successful development, deployment, and sustainment of Stellantis Global Manufacturing Quality processes, standards, and systems. This position supports mass production and last launch phase, driving quality excellence across all manufacturing regions and plants:




  • Support Assessments of plant and assist in resolution/action plan tracking of non-conformances.
  • Continuous improvement of Operational standards associated to MOQ Quality Management System and assist in role out/application within Stellantis Plants.
  • Lead the development, deployment, and long-term sustainment of Stellantis Global Manufacturing Quality processes, standards, and systems, ensuring effective regional handover and consistent implementation across all manufacturing plants (working closely with regional teams to align all key stakeholders).



For launch: leads by evaluating project team activities at (from LRM to) SOP. Ensure that all quality deliverables are thoroughly reviewed and validated by the Manufacturing Chief Engineer (MCE) / MFG/VPE-UPE, Launch Program Teams and action plan completed.


This role ensures the achievement of quality targets through strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing regions and plants.



Key Responsibilities:



Strategy & Leadership



  • Support to define Global Manufacturing Quality KPIs.
  • Develop and manage the Global Manufacturing Quality organizational structure, including roles, competencies, and headcount.
  • Lead forums and clubs (Business & Tech) to drive synergy, share best practices, and support plant-level quality initiatives.



Standards & Systems Development



  • Develop, deploy, and manage quality processes for current production.
  • Own the quality standard approval process and document control.


Electrification & Innovation



  • Lead the development of Electrified PS quality systems, processes, and control strategies.
  • Create a global competence center for Electrification through analysis, benchmarking, and best practice sharing (i.e; Battery Shop Business Club)



Continuous Improvement & Training



  • Coordinate Quality continuous improvement initiatives, workshops, and breakthrough projects.
  • Provide training and coaching on QMS Standards, Quality basics, SIS fundamentals.
  • Support plants with Quality Workstation Standard Applications and W2B initiatives.



Collaboration & Support



  • Interface globally with Manufacturing Quality, SIS, VPE, QMS, and Engineering.
  • Support plants directly through Gemba walks, benchmarking, and tailored coaching.



Perform internal and external benchmarking



  • Assess Plants for SIS quality domain
  • Support to plants on Standards application
  • Interface with industrial functions (VPE/UPE, MCE) to define and include Quality Process Lessons Learned and Product & process standard in the programs

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience within quality or manufacturing
  • Experience with quality systems, tools, and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with implementing quality standards and systems and work standardization of work tasks
  • Experienced in the problem solving, World Class Manufacturing System/Stellantis Production system


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Masters degree
  • OEM experience
