JOB DESCRIPTION USC Athletics is looking to hire a Director of Marketing to join our staff and student community of 600+ individuals. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating marketing and promotional efforts for USC Athletics, with a concentration on beach volleyball, women's volleyball, men's volleyball, and other Olympic sports, and with secondary responsibilities for men's basketball on-court promotions and activations for home games. Additional requirements include overseeing all marketing, membership goals, and execution of the Trojan Fever Rewards program for USC students, creating and executing student marketing efforts (specifically with men's basketball), and serving as the lead liaison for campus spirit groups and programs. Reporting directly to the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing, the Director of Marketing will work in collaboration with the department's external team, sports programs, and other units within the Athletics department. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated collegiate sports marketing experience, an ability to design and implement marketing plans for sports, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Knowledge of and experience working in higher education is preferred. Understanding of the unique culture and needs of college athletes is preferred. This position serves a large student and staff population, must demonstrate a commitment to improving outcomes for a variety of populations, and is expected to contribute to the program's demonstrated commitment to non-discrimination and equal opportunity for all. Salary Range The annual base salary range for this position is $82,000 - $95,000.
