Join Macquarie QIS Investor Sales team as a Senior Analyst out of our New York Office. Our Quantitative Investment Strategies team in the US deal with some of the world's biggest hedge funds, trade houses and asset managers on a wide range of commodity and quantitative investments. As a Senior Analyst in the sales team, you will assist with developing and managing client relationships, selling products, managing and executing deal flow, and coordinating the interaction between all other desks (trading, structuring, compliance, tech etc.).

You will be presenting complex ideas and processing large volumes of information, while effectively communicating with traders and external clients, dealing with internal processes and managing projects. Your strong analytical skills, strength with MS Excel, and imagination will be utilized when efficiently managing your daily workload. Finally, you will be able to identify new business opportunities because you enjoy networking and building rapport with diverse groups of people.
Salary range for this position: $130,000 - $160,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What you offer

  • 2-4 years of experience in financial markets sales, with a background in commodities being highly beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and strategic business acumen to generate revenue
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Excel and Python
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively pitch trade ideas and manage daily interactions with traders and external clients
  • A proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities through networking and building rapport with diverse groups of people
