General Summary

This internship supports the Eisai's Global Digital Business Transformation Team (GDBT), which is seeking a motivated summer Intern to support IT communications and technology initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience supporting real technology projects, internal campaigns, and enterprise-wide communications that help employees understand and adopt new IT tools and services.

What You'll Do

The intern will be responsible for working with the GDBT Team to support ongoing efforts including:

  • Help with launch of global communications platform instance for GDBT (global IT team)
  • Help with preparation of Cyber Security Awareness month activities for Oct 2026 - cybersecurity tv Sitcom
  • Support the development of internal IT communications, including emails, intranet (Pulse) articles, announcements, and presentations
  • Assist with drafting, editing, and proofreading content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with Eisai's tone and brand
  • Help create simple visual assets (graphics, banners, timelines, infographics) using tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or other design platforms
  • Organize and maintain content calendars, distribution lists, and communication trackers
  • Support change initiatives by helping package technical information into user-friendly communications
  • Monitor engagement metrics (open rates, page views, attendance) and summarize insights to support continuous improvement
Experience & Education Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited academic institution in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Interest in technology, digital transformation, or internal communications
  • Ability to explain complex or technical topics in plain language
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Basic design or content creation experience is a plus (PowerPoint layouts, Canva, Adobe Express, etc.)
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable collaborating with professionals across different teams and time zones
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Must be a rising junior or senior
  • Ability to work onsite at our Nutley, NJ office three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday)
  • Local candidates preferred due to the onsite requirement

Eisai Salary Transparency Language:

The hourly rate for the IT Intern, Global and Americas IT Communications is : $25.
