Position Title: Pharmacy Technician

Work Location: Jeffersonville, IN, 47130

Assignment Duration: 4+ MONTHS

Work Schedule: Monday 8:00am-6:30pm, Tuesday - Friday 10am-7:30pm, Saturday 12:00pm-8:30pm

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary:

* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The Organization. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.

* You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.

* Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.

* Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product.

* Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.

* Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.

* Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.

* Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

* Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.

* Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.

Qualification & Experience:

* Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or national pharmacy technician license.

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Previous pharmacy experience

* Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line.

* Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.

* Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.

* Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
