Job Objective:

The Graphics Project Manager plans, coordinates, and manages the execution of various projects, ensuring adherence to all project performance targets, such as timing, cost, quality and achievement of proposed benefits/return. This role gathers project requirements, establishes project plans, confirms cost structures and oversees the overall execution of projects. The Project Manager interacts with various teams, departments and clients to ensure the project maintains critical path.

Responsibilities:



  • Manages day-to-day progress of projects including risk assessment and problem resolution.


  • Works in planning the job to service the clients and fulfill their expectations.
  • Reviews all incoming jobs and obtains job specifications from the client.
  • Collects, analyzes and understands project requirements.
  • Schedules and attends planning meetings with client and production when necessary.
  • Attends client project meetings to understand project scopes, provide updates and stay within process.
  • Collaborates with clients cross-functional teams regarding timelines, workflow, process, capacity and efficiency.
  • Adds and updates project status in client's online project management tool.
  • Offers creative, constructive ideas and suggestions pertaining to incoming work and discuss alternative ways of producing jobs for quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Determines and communicates final artwork due date according to customer needs.
  • Updates and reviews projects in client online project management system
  • Ensures accurate information of design files, layouts and specifications received from client and/or agency supplier and coordinates with CSRs as needed.
  • Reviews comments in online proofing system to ensure all communication are clear for next round of art revisions.
  • Coordinates and/or participates in art turnover meetings with client and CSRs to ensure correct transfer of information is given for job creation and completion.
  • Advises CSRs/Production department of any special customer requirements.
  • Informs Account Manager if actual production of job deviates from original plan causing additional costs (i.e., additional system work, unforeseen production problems, etc.)
  • Handles meetings, emails, and calls from stakeholders regarding status of work in progress.
  • May liaison with suppliers to meet customer needs.
  • Ensures any customer concerns or issues are addressed by advising Account Manager and following up as necessary.
  • Participates in customer meetings as an information source and to ensure positive customer relations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Experience and/or Educational Requirements:



  • Minimum of a two-year degree or equivalent experience in the graphic arts industry.
  • Must have a minimum of one year experience in customer service in the package design or prepress industry and have experience working directly with clients, buyers, printers, etc.
  • Good communication skills to serve as an effective liaison between sales, production, and customers.
  • Logical and conceptual thinking skills to correlate job specifications.
  • A basic understanding of computers and computer software (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Portrays problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proven customer service skills and ability to deal effectively with difficult customer situations.
  • Ability to multi-task in high -pressure situation
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $80,000 USD - $90,000 USD annually. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
