About the Role

We are seeking a Sr. Director, Customer Development - Club Store to join our team. In this role, you will be accountable for leading and expanding Aspire Bakeries' Club Store business by strengthening customer partnerships, developing new opportunities, and driving profitable growth through strategic account leadership.

This role is critical to growing Aspire Bakeries' footprint with key Club Store customers while delivering incremental sales, margin expansion, and innovation. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Customer Development and represents Aspire Bakeries with customers, internal stakeholders, and at industry events.

  • Remote (U.S. West Coast / Pacific Time preferred)



Compensation



  • Salary Range: $149,000 - $198,000



Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)



  • Lead strategic customer relationships by owning pricing negotiations, contracts, RFPs, and overall commercial strategy for assigned Club Store accounts
  • Drive new business development by prospecting new customers and identifying opportunities for incremental sales growth
  • Partner crossfunctionally to lead product development, commercialization, and successful new product launches
  • Optimize menu and promotional strategies to identify gaps and initiatives that drive sales and margin growth
  • Own financial performance including budgets, forecasting, margins, program funds, and customer allowances
  • Align forecasting and supply chain execution to ensure accurate demand planning and operational effectiveness
  • Communicate performance and insights through weekly C4C reporting and proactive stakeholder engagement



Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in Club Store, Foodservice, or National Accounts
  • Proven success driving incremental product placement with Club Stores or major national accounts
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, opportunistic, and less structured environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel overnight approximately 50%-75%



Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)



  • Prior bakery or food manufacturing experience
  • Culinary background or strong understanding of Club Store and foodservice operations
  • Experience partnering closely with marketing, category management, and product development teams
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and commercialization processes
