Leidos is seeking a Project Coordinator Intern to support the office in Orlando, FL. This internship will provide support to the Project Manager in all aspects of daily program or project coordination as well as general assistance for the executive team. Important skills needed for this position include (but are not limited to) critical thinking, good time management, communication, and organization. The ideal candidate will take initiative and be able to work on tasks independently when assigned. The individual will be expected to collaborate with multiple team members throughout Leidos with high energy and flexibility. Applicants with management and leadership experience will be prioritized. This is an in-person role and requires the individual to be on-site.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Will work directly with various Project Supervisors in support of the projects you are assigned to.
  • Utilize GenAI tools to produce products, meet deadlines, facilitate cross-team collaboration, save time and complete tasks with reduced touch-labor.
  • Manage recurring meetings and maintain datasets of associated artifacts and domain-specific unstructured data including but not limited to Teams recordings, transcripts, and GenAI based notes in domain-specific, GenAI supported locations.
  • Gather Budget Data, Conduct Estimates and Program Coordination between Multiple Groups
  • Develop, Format, and Maintain IRAD project proposal slides (Kickoff & Closeout)
  • Create and Maintain MS Excel spreadsheet for budget allocation of IRAD projects for FREDD system
  • Onboarding assistance and setting up new employees in the division
  • Assist office administrator with administrative tasks onsite (Meeting Coordination, Restock of Supplies, Ordering Hardware)
  • Cross referencing of Government Property with Leidos Managed Property - Tracking of equipment for the duration of the program
  • Preparation and Assistance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) monthly reports
  • Update and Maintain Division Records within MS SharePoint
  • Track and maintain current business opportunities pertaining to the Division's objectives - Work with Business Development team to support various efforts
  • Train new interns as they enter the division
  • Assist in getting other interns familiar with Leidos internal systems

Basic Qualifications:

  • This position is not a purely technical position but does require the use of Microsoft Office
  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Management, Computer Science or related field at the Junior/Senior level
  • Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must have a track record of demonstrating leadership
  • Must demonstrate independent action and team cooperation
  • Must be resident of Orlando, FL area or willing to relocate
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
  • Must be able to work 30+ hours with flexibility

Pay Range:Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00
