National Grid Ventures is hiring a Business Support Coordinator. This hyrbid role can sit in either our Brooklyn NY or Hicksville NY location.

Job Purpose
  • Support the Chief of Staff in enabling the effective operation and execution of priorities for the NGV US President, ensuring strong alignment, preparation, and follow-through.
  • Help drive the executive operating rhythm for the NGV US President by supporting planning, coordination, and tracking across governance forums, performance cycles, and leadership engagements.
  • Act as a connector between the NGV US President, the Chief of Staff, and the broader NGV US organization, ensuring information flows clearly and efficiently.
  • Support colleague engagement and internal communications across the NGV US Team
  • Provide analytical, organizational, and coordination support that enables senior leadership to focus on strategic decision-making.
Key Accountabilities
  • Support preparation for key executive and performance forums.
  • Coordinate executive reporting inputs and support synthesis of performance updates into executive-ready materials.
  • Support colleague engagement initiatives including NGV US Calls, offsite retreats, and quarterly social engagements.
  • Provide administrative and operational back-up support as required.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects led by the Chief of Staff in support of NGV US priorities.
  • Limited travel may be required in support of events or leadership offsites.
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Know How
  • Strong intellectual capability with the capacity to grasp complex subject matter quickly.
  • Highly organized and comfortable operating at a tactical level, with an emphasis on executing effectively and at pace.
  • Ability to take direction, successfully prioritize and handle multiple tasks and be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Demonstrable passion and commitment to excellence in continuous improvement and quality; strongly results orientated.
  • Familiar with National Grid culture but open to new ideas, ways of working, etc.
  • Knowledge and appreciation of the global nature of the NGV team, and its place at National Grid.

Salary

$76,000 - $100,000 a year

National Grid utilizes an assessment that evaluates the job qualifications/characteristics using AI or statistically based scoring. For more information, please view NYC Local Law 144.

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
