As a Manager of Commercial Banking at First Citizens, you will carry on our tradition of developing and expanding commercial relationships in the Boston market. This is a leadership role that will manage a team of Commercial Bankers driving accountability to acquire, expand and retain banking relationships. #LI-JR1 Responsibilities In this role, you will get to: * Actively lead and manage performance for a team, ensuring operational soundness while executing on a plan to deliver results that create value for the customer, and meet the financial goals of the bank * Utilize leadership skills to drive accountability of expectations. Actively participate in calling efforts with the team, representing the Bank in the community * Develop and implement sales strategies to accomplish short-term and long-term financial objectives, based on Executive strategic direction. Sales results should align with the needs of the community and ultimately support the organizational commitment to diverse lending * Be an active partner of the credit team and provide guidance to the team in order to maintain strong credit quality and effective deal processing * Maintain productive working relationships with Business/Commercial Services partners and other corporate divisions; beneficially bringing sales partners into client relationships to manage the total financial services relationship for our customers and prospects Qualifications Bachelor degree with a minimum of 10 years commercial or business lending, credit or business development, or financial services management -Or- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 14 years commercial or business lending, credit or business development, or financial services management Additional Requirements: Strong financial analysis skills. Application of a structured sales process, Sales planning and forecasting, Financial analysis, Credit underwriting, Business development, Networking and building centers of influence Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 yearsexperience leading a high performing business or commercial banking sales team The base pay for this position is generally between $213,296 and $327,054. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
