The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a critical partner to Tennant's Operations and Manufacturing organizations, responsible for delivering highvolume, highimpact recruiting solutions that enable our factories and distribution centers to operate at peak performance. This role leads fullcycle recruitment for hourly operations employees and select manufacturing engineering roles, partnering closely with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and site leadership across our Golden Valley, MN; Holland, MI; and Louisville, KY locations.

This position plays a key role in building strong talent pipelines, supporting workforce planning needs, and delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience in fastpaced, operational environments.

Essential Responsibilities



  • Lead fullcycle recruiting efforts for hourly operations, skilled trades, and manufacturing engineering roles, in close partnership with HR Business Partners and site leadership.
  • Execute highvolume recruiting strategies to support production, distribution, and operational staffing needs across multiple locations.
  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, resume review, interviews, assessments, offers, and onboarding coordination.
  • Proactively source, attract, and engage qualified candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, community partnerships, and creative sourcing methods.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for recurring and hardtofill operational roles, anticipating hiring needs based on workforce plans and turnover trends.
  • Support Tennant's employment brand and local community engagement efforts related to hiring.
  • Educate candidates on job requirements, work schedules, benefits, compensation, incentive programs, and Tennant's safetyfirst and performancedriven culture.
  • Provide datadriven insights and recruiting guidance to HR Business Partners and hiring leaders, including market trends, timetofill, and pipeline health.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience through clear communication, consistent followup, and efficient process management.
  • Participate in local hiring events, job fairs, school and technical college partnerships, and community outreach activities as needed.
  • Leverage applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology to ensure accurate tracking, dispositioning, compliance, and reporting.



Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of talent acquisition experience, with a strong preference for:

    • Highvolume hourly recruiting
    • Manufacturing, distribution, or operations environments


  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a wide range of roles, from entrylevel hourly positions to technical and engineering talent.
  • Strong experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technology to manage high applicant volumes.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to manufacturing and distribution sites and attend hiring events as business needs require.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $67,500 - 101,200

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
