Job Title: Project Manager II - Hardware
Job Duration: 12 months contract role with possible extension/conversion
Location: Eden Prairie MN 55344
Pay Range: $52-$56/hr.

Job Summary

This role is for a Project Manager who manages hardware or technology projects (like hearing aid products).

You will work with different teams (engineering, software, product, etc.) to make sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and as planned.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and manage projects with large teams (15+ people)
• Create and maintain project schedules using MS Project
• Coordinate with different teams to keep work on track
• Run meetings and track progress regularly
• Identify risks/issues and solve them early
• Ensure projects meet deadlines, budget, and goals
• Communicate updates clearly to team and leadership
• Improve processes and suggest better ways of working

Education

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Project Management, or another relevant field

Experience:

• 5+ years of project management experience
• Experience in engineering or product development projects
• Basic understanding of electronics and software/firmware

Skills:

• Strong planning and organization
• Problem-solving and decision-making
• Good communication and teamwork
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle pressure

Tools:

• MS Project, MS Office
• Knowledge of Waterfall (required) and Agile (nice to have)

Desirable Skills, Abilities & Experience

• Hardware engineering background
• PMI certification
• Experience with hearing aids or similar products
• Experience with SharePoint / MS Project Server
