About the Role Redhorse transforms the way government uses data and technology. To support our most sensitive missions, we are seeking a Contract Security Officer (CSO) with an active Full Scope Poly (FSP). This role is the backbone of our secure operations within the Intelligence Community (IC). As the primary guardian of our industrial security program, you will ensure our people, facilities, and data meet the highest standards of national security. You won't just be managing paperwork; you will be directly enabling our elite technical teams to deliver innovative digital solutions in the most secure and classified environments in the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the organization's industrial security program in strict compliance with the NISPOM Rule and applicable Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs).
- Serve as the primary liaison between Redhorse and Intelligence Community (IC) government program security offices.
- Manage the full lifecycle of personnel security actions, including SCI processing, Full Scope Polygraph coordination, and visit requests through appropriate IC systems and agency-specific security portals.
- Oversee the safeguarding, handling, and accountability of classified information and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) across multiple IC programs.
- Coordinate the management and accreditation of secure workspaces, including Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), ensuring compliance with IC physical security and access control standards.
- Review and administer contract security requirements, including preparation and management of DD254s and coordination with subcontractor security teams.
- Lead the Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program, conducting initial and recurring briefings, debriefings, and foreign travel reporting for cleared personnel.
- Manage the Insider Threat Program (ITP), including monitoring, reporting, and investigating security incidents or suspicious activities in accordance with IC and federal requirements.
- Maintain continuous inspection readiness for IC security reviews and internal compliance audits.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and Program Managers to ensure security requirements are embedded throughout the employee lifecycle and program execution.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
- 5+ years of experience in industrial security implementing security policies in compliance with federal regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in the NISPOM Rule (32 CFR Part 117) and IC security standards.
- Proficiency using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), NBIS, and OPM security systems.
- Familiarity with the Scattered Castles database.
- Experience supporting security operations specifically for the CIA, NSA, or NGA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief and advise executive leadership on security risks and requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to Brief executive leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of CSSO (Contract Support Security Officer) training.
- Experience managing physical security requirements for SCIFs under ICD 705.
- Prior experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) or working with ISSM/ISSO teams on system authorizations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience supporting classified environments within federal contracting organizations.
- Familiarity with government security inspections and compliance reviews.
