Operations Coordinator (OnSite) Location: Syracuse, NY (Onsite) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional rotating weekend coverage (1-2 hours) once fully trained About the Role We are seeking an entry-level Operations Coordinator to support daily shipment and delivery operations. This is a fastpaced, onsite role that works closely with Customer Service and carrier partners to ensure accurate, timely shipments and quick resolution of issues. Key Responsibilities * Review delivery orders and shipment statuses from the previous day * Ensure all scheduled pickups are completed successfully * Verify account and billing information for accuracy * Review and prepare shipments for upcoming delivery days * Confirm shipments are dispatched correctly and on schedule * Act as a liaison between internal Customer Service teams and external carriers * Communicate shipment updates and respond to carrier inquiries * Troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues in real time * Provide timely updates to Customer Service regarding carrier questions or concerns Required Qualifications * At least 1 year of customer service experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel * Strong communication and organizational skills * Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment * Problemsolving mindset with high attention to detail Preferred Qualifications * Experience in logistics, transportation, or 3PL environments is a strong plus Work Environment & Perks * 100% onsite role in a collaborative office setting * Small team environment (approximately 6person team, 20person office) * Free onsite parking * Frequently catered meals and lunches * Supportive, accessible leadership team Why Join * Position is open due to continued business growth and expanding client demand * Opportunity to build experience in operations and logistics * Stable weekday schedule with limited weekend coverage * Handson role with visibility across operations and customer support Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.
