Job Type: Officer of Administration Bargaining Unit: Regular/Temporary: Temporary End Date if Temporary: 4/27/2027 Hours Per Week: 8 Standard Work Schedule: Building: Salary Range: 40-60 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Managing Director of NCDP at Columbia University, the Variable Hours Officer will support digital communications efforts for NCDP, including the NCDP website, project-specific sites, and social media content as approved by the NCDP Managing Director. Effort will be on an as-needed basis for regular maintenance and updates, as well as for periods of increased activity with new project initiatives, publication promotion, and events. Responsibilities Maintain NCDP's WordPress website and social media presence. Support project programs and outreach activities through email campaigns, flyers, postcards, graphics, presentations, 508-compliance, and other activities as determined. Provide communication support and direction for NCDP's programs and services, as determined. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience required (Marketing, Communication, Public Administration). Minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree, digital media, communications, and emergency management, with previous experience.
