Job Description:
Saab, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Configuration Manager with experience developed in aerospace or defense industries, to execute Configuration Management (CM) processes. This role requires expertise in engineering change management, product data structures, engineering drawings and technical data packages, and Configuration Control Board (CCB) administration. The role requires a strong understanding of industry CM standards and CM methodologies applicable to aerospace and defense products. Position Overview: Saab, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Hardware Configuration Manager with proven experience implementing Configuration Management (CM) principles and best practices derived from EIA-649, EIA-649-1, MIL-HDBK-61B. As a technical expert, you will oversee the release and change management of engineering drawings and technical data packages, establishing and maintaining product integrity and traceability throughout the product lifecycle. Reporting to the Manager of Configuration Management, you will support Model-Based Configuration Management (MBCM) and digital engineering initiatives, leveraging process automation and Digital Twin methodologies to enhance real-time configuration tracking. The candidate must be flexible with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent tasks in a diverse and competitive environment. This position may be remote, hybrid, or onsite at our Syracuse, NY office. Some travel may be required to support customer audits. Responsibilities Include:
Typical Salary Range:$80,900 - 101,100 for our Syracuse, NY, New York Remote, Orlando, FL, Remote Florida, Remote Arizona locations. $97,000 - $121,300 for our Washington, DC Remote, Quincy, MA, locations. The compensation range provided is a general guideline.
