Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Management Specialist to provide support to the U.S. Navy's In-Service Attack Submarines Program Office (PMS 392) at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC! We are seeking a candidate to join our team and provide logistic management support to programs supporting the maintenance and modernization of the U.S. Navy's fleet of Fast Attack Submarines (SSN 688I, SSN 21 and SSN 774 Class Submarines). PMS 392 is part of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Program Executive Office Submarines (PEO SSN), and Team Submarine (TSUB).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in depth analytical reviews of contractual documents to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized data repository to enhance information accessibility and version control.
  • Track and Maintain contract files: Track orders and modifications, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and contractor deliverables, meeting minutes, briefs, and other relevant documentation. Conduct rigorous comparison and validation of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Contract Oversight: Create procurement requests. Assist with monitoring contract deliverables in accordance with terms and conditions.
  • Process and manage Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) change requests.
  • Facilitate the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process through collaboration with the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) and Configuration Management teams.
  • Skillfully aggregate and disseminate pertinent data to key stakeholders.
  • Drive the resolution of material requests by liaising effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Support program meetings, document meeting minutes and action items for Contracting Officer, maintain and manage Representative (COR) files, track, manage, and close out action items from meetings and those assigned by PMS392L. Capture and formalize critical meeting outcomes, including key decisions and actionable items, to ensure project alignment and accountability.



Education and Experience:

  • Four years or more of providing logistic support to DoD or Navy acquisition and sustainment programs.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Navy logistics procedures and systems.
  • Proven experience in logistics, contract management, or related role.
  • Proficiency in data management and the use of centralized data repositories.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High comfort level working with and around all military/organizational levels, clients, customers, suppliers, and visitors.
  • Active Secret DoD clearance is required; familiarity with handling restrictions (CUI, NOFORN etc.) for sensitive, unclassified and classified documents.


Desired Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with government contracts, CDRLs, and ECPs is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Navy/NAVSEA/submarine sustainment experience.



Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC. Situational Telework is allowed for this position. However, that may change based on customer requirements.
