Medical Call Center - Scheduler
Alexandria, Virginia Pay From: $21.00 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Call Center - Scheduler 2 plus years of experience as a Medical Call Center Must speak Spanish and English Must have strong scheduling experience Must have experience handling high volume of outbound calls Must have strong data entry experience Must have excel experience Must have EMR experience, knowledge of ECW highly preferred Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Experience working in oncology and/or breast health is highly preferred DUTIES: Medical Call Center - scheduler will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Receive referrals for program and assess patient eligibility Schedule patients for mammogram appointments by calling the patient, scheduling their mammogram, asking required patient assessment questions, sending appointment reminders, and arranging for transportation if needed Schedule patients for their mammogram appointments at radiology providers by calling the patient, scheduling their mammogram, asking required patient assessment questions, sending appointment reminders, and arranging for transportation if needed Ensure that program goals are met by connecting referred patients to breast cancer screening services in a timely fashion and ensuring that patient data is accurately collected and entered the program database Responding to patient queries over the phone Accurately track work on internal program spreadsheet and in EMR responsible for accurately inputting client information into the program's breast cancer screening database for approval and documenting work in EMR Checking receipt of mammogram reports Assist with entering program data into database in a timely and accurate manner Responsible for assessing program eligibility; updating and maintaining breast cancer screening tracking spreadsheet; assisting patients with scheduling mammogram appointments; reminding patients of appointments Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
