Position Title: Warehouse
Wage: $16.00 - $17.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) or 7:30am - 8:00pm (Saturday - Monday) QPS Employment Group has a great Warehouse opportunity available at a company in Grinnell, IA. These opportunities could turn into full time positions for candidates that have great performance and attendance! This role is responsible for accurately filling and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Team members will pick, pack, and verify orders while maintaining organization and cleanliness throughout the workspace. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable with physical work during extended shifts. Apply now! Warehouse Responsibilities: - Read order sheets and accurately pick items from designated shelving - Use a handheld scanner to retrieve and track orders - Pack items into appropriately sized boxes for shipment - Verify packing slips match the items packaged - Complete required paperwork for outgoing orders - Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area - Organize and store supplies as they are received Requirements for Warehouse: - Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Ability to lift 5-40lbs repeatedly (up to 10 times per hour); team lifts required for items over 40lbs - Ability to bend, twist, push, pull and crouch throughout the shift marshalltown@qpsemployment.com IND097 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
