Position Title: Lead Machine Operator
Salary: $70,000-$75,000/year Shift: 3rd Hours: 11pm-7:30am We're seeking candidates for a Lead Machine Operator role in Milwaukee, WI. The Lead Machine Operator is primarily responsible for overseeing the operation of the die cast machines and operators to produce battery terminals and components. This is direct hire opportunity. Lead Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Supervise the machine operators to ensure they are performing their jobs as expected, including informing of any absences, late arrivals or leaving early or any other issues occurring with an employee - Make sure all operators are following all safety protocols - Assist machine operators as needed, including filling in for the machine operators during their scheduled breaks - Troubleshoot and resolve moderate machine operating issues that are not able to be resolved by the machine operator - Perform periodic quality control inspections to ensure Machine Operators are properly monitoring the parts for weight, critical dimensions and product appearance - Perform and record daily preventative maintenance - Perform machine set up and tooling changes, as needed - Review all required records and reports to be completed by the machine operators for accuracy and sign off on them - Maintain communication with production team ensuring smooth shift transitions - Document any issues that occurred with any of the machines and/or operators during your shift and provide that documentation to Gabino at the end of your shift - Provide training for new machine operators south@qpsemployment.com IND010 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
